Landmark Difference Makers Interview Series: Harleen McClean – Designing Spaces for Human Well-Being

September 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm UTC-6

LIVE INTERVIEW:

Harleen McLean is a designer whose work is centered on biophilic design—the idea that human beings have an innate need for connection with nature, and that the spaces where we live and work can either nurture or diminish that connection. Drawing on a lifetime influenced by Africa, Asia, Europe, art, pattern, color and the natural world, Harleen is exploring how thoughtful design can create environments that support well-being, reduce stress, encourage creativity and help us feel more alive.

We’ll talk with Harleen about what biophilia really means, why it matters in an increasingly indoor and technology-driven world, and how changing the spaces around us might actually change our experience of living in them.

This interview is open to the public. All are welcome!
